You're not sure that AIRIA is the right pick for you? Here are some of the most asked questions.
Joining the Airia Partner Program
Getting started is simple. Just send us an email, and our partner team will contact you within 24 hours to begin the process.
We welcome partners with all levels of experience. While a background in people-counting sensors is a plus, we are fully equipped to support partners new to the industry. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to be successful from day one.
Our expert sales engineering team partners with you from the very beginning. From the moment you receive a Request for Quotation (RFQ), we are on your side to help answer technical questions and structure a winning proposal for your client.
The Airia Sensor: Hardware & Warranty
It means you purchase the hardware outright and own it. There are no recurring annual fees or subscriptions required to use the sensor's full feature set.
The AIRIA sensor comes with a one-year standard warranty. We offer a free-of-charge replacement for any sensor that is Dead on Arrival (DOA) or experiences defects within the first year.
Yes, for long-term peace of mind, the standard warranty can be extended for up to five years.
The sensor is powered using the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard, allowing for a streamlined installation using a single cable for both power and data. You will need to connect it to a PoE injector or a PoE-compatible network switch. A separate power supply is not included.
The sensor is highly efficient, with a maximum power consumption of just 5 Watts.
The sensor is designed for low-light conditions, requiring a minimum of 9 Lux. To put that in perspective, it's bright enough to see and move around without bumping into things, but too dim to comfortably read a book.
Setup, Integration & Management
To guarantee the highest data accuracy, we include a remote setup and validation service performed by our experts. Once the sensor is installed and connected to the network, our team takes over. We conduct a final manual validation for one hour and provide a comprehensive validation report that you can share directly with your customer.
The AIRIA sensor is designed for simple and flexible integration. It supports real-time data push through several standard methods, including API, HTTPS, and FTP.
We provide the complimentary, cloud-based AIRIA Management Tool. Its primary goal is to keep you remotely connected to your entire sensor fleet, enabling you to monitor device health and deploy firmware updates with ease.
Security & Privacy by Design
To ensure all data is transmitted securely, the AIRIA sensor utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols, including HTTPS for web traffic and IEEE 802.1X for network access control.
The sensor features built-in brute force attack protection. After a series of incorrect login attempts, the device will automatically block all authentication requests for a configurable period, securing it from unauthorized access.
Privacy is at the core of our design. The AIRIA sensor performs all processing on-device, a strong foundation for privacy that aligns with data minimization principles under GDPR. The output is completely anonymous count data (like events, vectors, and dwell times), meaning no personal data or biometrics are ever processed or stored.
Yes, for system validation, you can enable a special Privacy Mode. In this mode, camera images are obfuscated in real-time. The static background remains visible for context, but moving individuals are pixelated, making them completely unrecognizable.
